Division of Legal Advisory / Administration & Financial

This Division has the following functions and responsibilities:

  • providing legal advice on any transaction which the university intend to enter into.
  • monitoring an overseeing the litigation, corporate drafting, and governan section and providing legal advice pertaining to the matters under the purview of the section.
  • providing legal advise on University Constitution, Statutes, Rules and Regulations including matters relating to the staff and student displicinary action.

 

In addition, this Division has the following functions and responsibilities:

  • to perform and monitor the general administrative duties of the Office;

  • to perform and manage the planning and management of staff training and the annual training of the Office;

  • to perform and monitor the staff leave records of the Office;

  • to conduct and monitor the financial affairs of the Legal Advisor's Office including procurement, storage, inventory, management and disposal of assets;

  • to monitor the occupational health and safety affairs of the Office;

  • to lead, manage and monitor office administration and quality management system affairs of QMS MS ISO 9001:2015, ISMS ISO/IEC 27001:2013 and EKSA.
